RESULTS OF CANADA'S
FIRST-EVER STILETTO SPRINT
On September 11th women from across the GTA strapped on their 3-inch stilettos to prove what they can do to win $10,000 cash in Canada’s first-ever stiletto sprint. Chandra Ewing of Mississauga won the 100 metre women’s final with a time of 14.5 seconds, becoming the first winner of this inaugural high-heel event, and took home the $10,000 grand prize. Sisters, Jacqueline Dawkins of Markham and Melissa Dore-Anderson of Brampton, finished second and third respectively with times of 15.7 seconds and 15.8 seconds. Second place earned $2,500 and third place $1,000. Kristopher Vardy of Peterborough was the winner of the men's race with a time of 14.8 seconds.
All registration proceeds paired with $20,000 from STYLESENSE was donated to Look Good Feel Better, Canada’s only charity that addresses the appearance related affects of all cancers affecting women. For further information about Look Good Feel Better click here.
